Get off of the El, exit to the right (headed east). Go 2-3 blocks, cross Sheridan Ave (1000 W.), look for a large, 5-story brick building on the south side (right) of the street that says "The Preston Bradley Center" on the marquee. Go to a set of doors that have glass covered bulletin boards on them. Use the the telephone keypad built into the wall to call REST (*02). We will buzz the door, use the elevator (NOT THE STAIRS, which have a locked door) to come up to the fourth floor. Driving: From the west: Get on Lawrence Ave. (4800 N.) and proceed east. Cross Sheridan Ave (1000 W.), look for a large, 5-story brick building on the south side (right) of the street that says "The Preston Bradley Center" on the marquee. Park in the gravel parking lot on the east side of the building. Go to a set of doors that have glass covered bulletin boards on them (not the easternmost door by the parking lot – this takes you downstairs into the shelter). Use the telephone keypad built into the wall on the right to call REST (*02). We will buzz the door, use the elevator (NOT THE STAIRS, which have a locked door) to come up to the fourth floor. From the north or south: Exit Lake Shore Drive at Lawrence Ave. (4800 N.). Proceed west, go through two quick traffic lights, _ of the way up the block look for a large, 5-story brick building on the south side (left) of the street that says "The Preston Bradley Center" on the marquee. Park in the gravel parking lot on the east side of the building. Go to a set of doors that have glass covered bulletin boards on them (not the easternmost door by the parking lot – this takes you downstairs into the shelter).
